Three ways to grow
Character stats, weapon Traits and maximum HP have separate progression paths. Collecting one kind of upgrade does not replace the others.
| Progression | How you gain it | What it changes |
|---|---|---|
| Stat points | Character levels | Your character’s attributes |
| Weapon Trait points | Raeven’s Coilstones | The Trait tree for a weapon |
| Maximum HP upgrades | Offer Nui Tears at a Nui Statue | Maximum health |
What each stat does
| Stat | Main effects |
|---|---|
| Strength | Physical attack |
| Agility | Critical hit chance and physical attack |
| Constitution | HP and critical resistance |
| Intelligence | Magic attack |
| Talent | Magic attack and using better equipment without penalties |
| Endurance | Stamina and defense |
Attribute choices should follow the weapon and play style you are using. These effects describe the system; they do not establish one universal best allocation.
Raeven’s Coilstones and weapon Traits
Exploration rewards Trait points through Raeven’s Coilstones. Those points belong to weapon progression and are distinct from the stat points obtained through leveling.
Nui Tears
Take Nui Tears to a Nui Statue to increase maximum HP. This is another reason to explore rather than relying only on experience levels.
