Is ArcheAge Chronicles an MMO?
Yes. ArcheAge Chronicles is described as an open-world action MMORPG. It combines a shared world with exploration, cooperative activities and action combat.
How the world is organized
The shared world uses regional channels. Dungeons can be played solo or with a party of up to four, while player combat uses separate PvP channels.
The October design discussion described a typical regional channel as around 100 players. That is a channel design figure, not the total population capacity of an entire server.
Is it the original ArcheAge with new graphics?
Do not assume that all original class combinations, naval warfare or large-scale war systems have returned unchanged. Chronicles has its own announced four-class and weapon system.

Check the Steam Early Access schedule first, then PC requirements and price. The October demo has ended, so its old access instructions are not the next release path.
